Hotflash! Menopause Matters: Meno-Healthy Recipes
Sesame Tofu

Do you have a favorite? Please tell us
Cut into 3/4 inch cubes or 1/4 inch thick slices:
  • 2 lbs. of firm tofu

Marinate for 2 hours in a mixture of :

  • 1/3 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 trsp. garlic powder
  • 1 Tbsp. ginger root, grated or 1/4 tsp. ginger (powder)
  • 2 tsp. sugar
Roll in:
  • 1 cup sesame seeds (ground in a blender)
  • 2/3 cup flour Brown in olive oil

and serve with hot rice. Brown rice is a good way to get complex carbohydrates in : ) !
