Pauline's
Apricot-Almond No Sugar Cheesecake
 This is a great cheesecake
recipe that features Splenda & fruit
which is the first sugar substitute that you can actually bake with. It comes from Pauline
who says, "I have a low carb, no sugar cheesecake recipe which I've perfected over
time. I eat the low carb diet and higher protein as I am hypoglycemic.
I still love something sweet now and than.. I have found a new sugar substitute called
"Splenda." It's already on the supermarket shelves. Does not have the toxic side
effects that aspartame and nutra-sweet do. Anyway here is my recipe. (for weight management).
Just make it and then "sit down" and enjoy it "guilt-free." OK for
hypoglycemics and diabetics
too.How sweet it is!
The connection
between sugar & perimenopausal symptoms
by Sue Spataro, RN, BSN
I love candy. More specifically I love those little cookie-
bottomed Reese's miniature peanut butter cups; can't get enough of them. Boy, they tasted
so good. I might pocket a small handful of M&Ms here and there. Well, after
looking at what I've been eating, I thought not bad, there's not too much left to cut out.

You Don't Have to Suffer....
by Edward A. Krimmel, Patricia T. Krimmel

A number of books have been written on low blood sugar but none as complete or up
to date as The Low Blood Sugar Handbook. Edward Krimmel, the sufferer in this case,
searched and discovered the root of his distressing symptoms. Patricia, his wife, a
registered nurse, was "copilot" during his struggle to gain health and normalcy.
Together they have developed what they call the Krimmel Program, which includes, diet,
exercise, fun and laughter, and proper sleep and rest. Suggestions are also given on
"choosing the right doctor," in view of Krimmel's sad experiences with the
medical professionals. This book provides a comprehensive guide for people suffering with
low blood sugar and there are menus and schedules for eating plus a few recipes. There are
numerous individuals who will benefit from the helpful ideas and information which this
